Advisory Boards

The Diamond Open Access Service Center (SeDOA) serves as a National Capacity Center (NCC) in Germany and is thus part of the European Diamond Open Access infrastructure, while also being closely integrated into the German open access landscape. While the SeDOA International Advisory Board, composed of international members, ensures connections to European initiatives and infrastructures, the SeDOA Stakeholder Advisory Board represents the interests of the relevant communities of practice and stakeholder groups in Germany. Both boards advise the SeDOA Steering Committee on matters of strategy and planning, as well as on project-related operational measures:

  • the SeDOA International Advisory Board with regard to the project’s European integration
  • the SeDOA Stakeholder Advisory Board with regard to the needs of stakeholder groups in Germany.

The members of the advisory boards are appointed based on their proven experience and commitment in the field of digital publishing and Open Access. They represent professional communities, key organizations, or are experts in services related to Open Access.
