The “SeDOA Innovation Lab” (SIL) serves as a think tank, observatory, and sounding board for the project. SIL identifies and documents the needs of the academic community in Germany, researches Diamond Open Access-related stakeholders, publication practices, and innovations at both national and international levels, and makes them accessible through case studies. The goal is to improve participatory Open Access research infrastructures. SIL supports the SeDOA project tasks through agile co-creation and co-design processes, provides a safe space for innovation, gathers insights, plans next steps, and maintains close communication with the SeDOA working groups. The aim is to establish SIL as a contact point for future-oriented developments in the field of Diamond Open Access in Germany.
