SeDOA promotes the visibility and use of existing Diamond publication infrastructures by centrally routing inquiries regarding publication projects through the SeDOA Distribution Hub. A database of publication service providers is being established to which inquiries are routed. Inclusion in the SeDOA database is based on defined quality standards for publication processes and forms the basis for assignment to a suitable publication venue.
SeDOA also provides publication opportunities to a certain extent through the institutions participating in the project. In addition to these publication opportunities, information is also provided on long-term archiving options. Furthermore, workflows for single-source publishing with a focus on XML are being developed, and workshops on accessibility in publications are offered.
